The dental team at Finch Midland Dental in Scarborough includes general dentists Dr. Josephine Leung, Dr. Melanie Yu, and Dr. Adam Tan, orthodontic specialist Dr. Mirian Dang, and a team of registered dental hygienists. Together our doctors speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and care for families across Scarborough, Agincourt, Milliken, North York, and Markham.

Dr. Josephine Leung received her Bachelor of Science (with high distinction) from University of Toronto in 1998, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (with honors) from University of Western Ontario in 2002. Dr. Leung is a current member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and York Region Dental Society.
Dr. Leung is passionate about dentistry. She actively attends continuing education courses to stay current with the new technology and developments in dentistry. She has particular interests in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, laser dentistry, pediatric dentistry, periodontics (gum disease), and management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder.
Dr. Leung enjoys singing, hiking and cooking during her leisure time.
Dr. Leung is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Dr. Melanie Yu completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Toronto. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University. After graduation, Dr. Yu obtained further training as a resident at the State University of New York in Esthetic Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Yu has been practicing in Ontario since 2005. She enjoys connecting with her patients of all ages and backgrounds. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
In her free time, Dr. Yu enjoys cooking and traveling with her family.
Dr. Adam Tan is a highly accomplished dentist, author, and lecturer with extensive experience in implant dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign, CAD/CAM technology, sedation dentistry, and advanced surgical procedures.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), holds accreditation with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (AIAOMT), and has been recognized for his innovation, philanthropy, and leadership within the dental profession.
Dr. Tan has built multiple award-winning practices, lectures on advanced implant techniques, and is known for combining cutting-edge digital dentistry with a strong patient-centered philosophy.
Dr. Mirian Dang is the orthodontic specialist at Finch Midland Dental. She holds a specialty Diploma in Orthodontics (Dip. Ortho) in addition to her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Master of Science (MSc) — completing the advanced post-doctoral training required to practice as a certified orthodontist.
